I am not a literature expert, but the below quote from George Bernard Shaw has me written all over it –
“I dislike feeling at home when I am abroad.”
There are two things I love doing; traveling and being at home. And no, not at the same time (as you would know already). I’d describe myself the introvert type, who prefers spending Saturday night at home rather than bar hopping across town. My home is where I can be the person I want to be and nurture an environment that is invigorating to my senses. After days or weeks of fanatic activities, home is where I wind down with a book and cup of coffee or better still a glass of Sangria.
On my travels, however, I expose myself to places, people and experiences that take me out of my comfort zone. I could go paragliding, snorkeling, get my hands dirty in a pottery workshop or go off-roading in the wild! In the end, I come back enriched, learning at least one new thing to get me through life.
This page is an amalgamation of my personality and travels. This is my happy place…
